3 months!

Today is Molly's three month birthday! Our little girl is growing so fast.
Here are a few pictures from this past week. Yes, I know I take a lot of pictures of the same thing (JC thinks it's mildly ridiculous), but it's because I'm trying to catch all her cute facial expressions! (And I don't even post them all!)

good golly, miss molly!

Here are some recent pictures from the past 10 days. My mom and sisters (boo-boo, aunt maggie and aunt mary) came in town to visit for a few days! It was great fun, and Molly loved all the attention. (Of course we missed the rest of the fam - paw-paw, adam and holly!)

What's new in Molly's world... Well, I'm teaching her to go to sleep in her crib. She's gotten a lot better in the past week and I'm looking forward to the days when I can lay her in there and she'll drift right off to sleep without too much fuss and fighting!

I got a bumbo (baby-sitter-upper) last week to see if she'd like it. She does (you can see in the pics). It's a new fun toy and it will help her strengthen the muscles she needs to sit up.

I get up 1-2 times a night to feed her. (Although last night it seems like it was every two hours, which was unusual and not at all fun.) We're looking forward to the days when she sleeps 8 hours straight, but I do like getting those Molly cuddles!

Oh, and she loves to have huge diaper blowouts right after I change her onesie because it has spit-up all over it. What a cutie.

But seriously, JC and I can't take our eyes off her. And of course we think she's the most beautiful baby in the world. No offense to other sweet babies. :)

10 weeks old!

Molly is ten weeks old today. Amazing how the time flies! We had her two month pediatrician appt. this past week. She weighs 10 lbs, 12.5 oz, so she's getting big! Well, relatively. She's in the 50%-ile for weight, and a little less than that for height (almost 23 inches now).

Both JC and I were used to being in the 99%-ile for height growing up, so this is unusual for us. I had to remind him that that 50% isn't like a grade at school, it just means she's right dab in the middle of "normal" for her age.

She also got some vaccinations, which wasn't too pleasant. But we're spreading them out a bit and we're going back at 3 months for more. So the reaction probably wasn't as harsh!
