Grocery shopping

We (both) now LOVE the cars attached to the front of the grocery carts at kroger. She loves to steer the wheel and beep the horn, and say "HI!!" to other people (as long as they look friendly enough:)) Vroom vroom!

Our trick to get her to smile for the camera is to ask her to play peekaboo. That's why her arms are out - "peekaboo!!"

Hello!

We had a great time in Atlanta for thanksgiving! Here we found molly chilling in paw-paw's dinner chair:

And my mom cleaned off our old play kitchen and Molly went wild for it!

This is when paw paw dropped us off at the airport.

Random bundled in the car...

Dinner fun

What you can't see is the chili all over her lap:)

Uh oh, forgot to use my spoon... I'm in trouble now!

I had the good sense to take off her (outer) shirt before dinner both of these times. Yay mom!

Also, molly's really improving at her puzzles...

Hi mom!

I got all super-nesting-instinct one afternoon nap and made her seven new bows (this is one). I also had a random burst of excitement this past week at the thought of future chore charts. And I made a shower curtain. Pregnancy hormones at work!!

Random pictures

Hello! We've been doing well here in our new house. We closed on our old house last week, praise the Lord, and are really getting settled here.

Molly is doing great - we are amazed at how much she's growing and love her sweet and funny personality. Nothing compares to being parents!

She's a great eater - she likes most of what we eat and lets me add chopped spinach or other veggies to her favorite foods. She also just started sleeping 12 hours at night - her absolute max used to be 11ish. Yes, we have arrived. :)

She's been playing a lot with her buddy Jaxon, who was born on the same day as she was! Here they are a couple times. Cute!

And notice molly's look in the next pic... Hmm, she may be a bossy big sis?

Here Jaxon is letting Molly drive his car. What a gentleman!

We've also gotten to spend some time with molly's new (5th!) cousin Preston and mom Kara. He is a precious boy and Kara is doing such a great job with him despite the craziness that is life with a newborn!

We appreciate the practice being around such a tiny baby:)

Okay, one more... JC and I took Molly to a very cool park near our house this weekend and here she is swinging... I just think her skinny little legs are hilarious in this picture!

Hope everyone is enjoying the fall! Thanks for keeping up with us. :)

Playing in the backyard

We're having fun outside this time of year! Molly is also at the point where she can play on her playset without hands-on attention. She loves it!
Here she is still in her "doggie" dress from church:

Throwing leaves! (we have piles of them at our new house - the small price you pay for wonderful trees...)

A little Crawford update

So, I've gotten a few requests for a baby-size-compared-to-a-fruit post, you know, a throwback to when I was pregnant with Molly and diligently posted cute little pieces of produce to show how big BC was. Well, I'm not as on top of it this time... BUT, I will give you something better!!

We are having... Drumroll please... And sorry if this is anticlimactic for all the traditionalists like me out there(who got overruled this time (haha:))...

ANOTHER SWEET BABY GIRL!! She is healthy as far as the sonogram can tell and we feel incredibly blessed. As JC once said (soon after molly's birth) "all baby BCs should be girls!" Molly is simply our precious princess and we are so blessed to get another one. And Molly has a little built-in BFF! Yay!!

Okay, so in other, related news, we are moving to a different area (still dfw) that has good schools and a great house with more bedrooms to house more BCs. :) And it's not really farther from anything for us, which of course is awesome. We close on the house October 12 and move shortly thereafter.

I'm 20 weeks pregnant right now and sporting quite the little bump. I'm also chasing around our always fast and sometimes very mischievious little Molly, which makes 20 weeks pregnant feel a lot more tiring this time around! But all things considered, life is very good and I am a blessed woman.

That's all for now!

Bookworm

Outside with a very exciting book!

Of course we have to point at all the airplanes (ah-pahs) and watch as they go by. Very serious business.

Molly's favorite songs

I don't usually have to drag them out of her like this, but it's still kind of cute :)

Outside again!!

I have been dreaming of cooler weather for months now... I've absolutely suffocated in the heat (pregnancy has absolutely made 100+ degrees worse this year). Good weather finally got here - Heavenly!!

We all enjoyed it yesterday..

Tackling daddy! (I love this one of JC - he plays the tacklee so well:))

this is one of our favorite games!

Weee!!

Labor day in Atlanta

We just got back from a nice long weekend in Atlanta with my parents and sister Mary! JC had a golf tournament with friends in Myrtle Beach, so we all had a very fun weekend.
Here she is with Boo-Boo!

And Paw-Paw!

She loved running up and down all the hills and around the neighborhood, since the weather was just wonderful. We had a great time together!

Where's Molly??

Peek-a-boo!!

dance, Molly, dance!

If Molly hears music, or hears the words "music" or "dance" - she immediately starts bee-bopping around. We love it!

MI blueberry picking

Growing up we picked blueberries every summer in Port Sheldon. This year we continued the tradition with Molly!

She was timid at first - didn't want to walk in the tall-ish wet grass or get dirty (she can be rather prissy). But she got really into it by the end, running up and down the rows, picking blueberries and putting them in her own bucket!

She won't eat the blueberries we get here in Texas (they're grainy and not very sweet - not trying to COMPLAIN or anything) but she devoured them while we were in Michigan. No comparison!

Here are the M&Ms:

And the whole sibling crew!
