Byebye and kisses

I think Molly waved byebye this morning as JC left for work! She also said "ba ba" as she did, but she says that a lot so it's hard to tell if it was on purpose. I didn't start modeling "the wave" for her until I heard she may be able to do it a month or so ago. Dang, Molly won't learn unless I teach her? So much pressure! Haha.



My sister Maggie just came to visit Dallas for part of her spring break! (she's a fellow demon deacon) We had a great visit and loved having her here.


Oh, and Molly is occasionally giving kisses! She had given JC a few the last couple days and I was so jealous - but yesterday I finally got one, right on the kisser!

Speaking of her love for daddy, she squeals and shakes when he comes home! And of course drops whatever she's doing and practically flies over to him. (she's that fast!)


Oh, and look at those legs! I nurse 4x/day and give her as many solids as I can get in her 3x/day, so I'm pretty sure she just inherited jc's limbs. :) great genes!

Oh, and on the subject of good legs, she's starting to stand for a second or a few at a time! And she's walking around holding onto furniture. Oh boy!

Recent pics

Sorry I haven't been posting enough! We had my mom (boo boo) here for a few days and had a blast. In the middle of her visit we had huge record-setting snow and were without power for Thursday afternoon and most of Friday! The snow was gorgeous, though, and JC built a life-sized snow family in the backyard. It was like living-up-north-again kind of snow!! I have to upload the pictures from our camera later. It's hard for me to get computer time anymore with sweet Molly needing constant supervision!


A few Molly updates:
She is pulling up on everything and starting to inch around holding onto furniture.
She is taking two naps a day and pretty consistently sleeping 11 hours at night now! (minus teething and a cold, ha)
She is a great eater - she loves everything mixed with yogurt (plain whole milk kind),


including broccoli and black beans. (I know.) My goal is to get her eating what we eat. I refuse


have a picky eater!
She has five teeth now, weighs 17 pounds and is 28 inches long. We're working on packing on some more pounds for good measure but she just won't stop burning calories! (see next paragraph)



She is a ball of energy all day and is very outgoing! Loves to chase other babies/toddlers or dogs, squeals her heart out, and never stops kicking her legs, unless she's crawling or standing up banging her hands on something. As the ladies in the church nursery put it yesterday at mops, "she doesn't stop!"

Getting into everything...

Molly is officially and without hesitation crawling everywhere I let her. I was being a nice mom just now and let her pull all my real simple magazines off the shelf!
